  • Q: I am using a legacy Sony EV Camera model. Can I use the latest TL705x and TL603x modules?
    A: Yes, with the current firmware versions and the newest hardware revision we sill support the legacy EV cameras from Sony.

  • Q: In the past, I did order TL765x or TL663x interfaces for my camera (Tamron for example). Which interface do I need to order now?
    A: You can order the TL705x or TL603x interface.
  • Q: I am using a legacy Sony EH camera model. Can I still use the latest board revisions with the latest firmware revisions?
    A: In that case, we can provide the newest HW revision with the old firmware to support your EH cameras on request. Please contact our sales@aivion.de before ordering this to make sure that the modules will be shipped with the required firmware.
  • Q: I have designed in my board into a certified system. Using different HW or SW revisions would require new certification. What should I do?
    A: In that case please contact sales@aivion.de. We can provide an old firmware version for your product. If you are requiring old HW revisions that can be provided as well but there might be minimum order quantities. Please check with us if you have this kind of requirement.
  • Q: I am using a custom interface with a special non-standard part number. Is the firmware change affecting my product?
    A: No, in that case, we will continue to ship the product as it was specified originally. In case special components will not be available on the market we would inform you.
  • Q: I am using a camera model that is officially not supported. Can I still use AIVION Interfaces?
    A: If the cameras is supporting the LVDS interface with the 30pin KEL connector there is a good chance that this will work. Please contact us in that case. If you will provide the camera block to us, we will check if that works and may be able to add support for that camera block.
